The music of pianist Simone Weißenfels is a mixture of genres like, contemporary and classical music, jazz and improvisation, while the artist creates an intense cross-border exchange of these genres with her own compositions. Her free improvised songs on the piano are known for stirring, expressive changes in tempo. Simone has studied in Leipzig at the »Hochschule für Musik und Theater« and in Moskau at the »Gnesin-Institut«. Numerous concerts and compositions and the collaborative projects with musicians like Elliott Levin, Barre Philips, Adam Smith and Wolfram Dix speak for her variability.
